Hello there, I'm Meta, the proprietor of Metaphor Yarns.
Welcome to Shelburne, MA; a special place to shop for yarn. The hill farms in our community are home to sheep, goats, alpaca and llamas, and their beautiful fleeces. The number of spinners, dyers, knitters, felters and crocheters keeps growing, and it's no wonder around here where fiber is part of the landscape.
We offer classes for the very beginning novice knitter and special techniques of all kinds for experienced knitters. Our events are always fun too. Take a look at the calendar pages to see what's coming up.
